Ugh, exam time.

I'd like nothing more to than to sleep.

Shirt- Man Boobz// Shorts- Joe Fresh// Tights- Joe Fresh// Boots- H&M// Belt- Stolen from father

I am sick of exams.

Here is my mammoth t-shirt.

The show Sons of Anarchy is amazing.

I am going to take a nap.

Black and Purple

I've been in love with the colours eggplant, black and grey lately. There's just something so dramatic about it that appeals to me deep inside.

Dress, Tank, Leggings, Boots- H&M// Jacket- Gift// Cardigan- Old Navy// Scarf- Second Hand

All thanks to Delightfully Tacky's photo tips! Incredibly helpful and I actually like my pictures today. There is variety, and if I don't look at the camera, I don't have to smile! Yay! And it's such a nice day out. 11 degrees and everything. The only thing I would change is the sunlight.

For those of you unaware, I'm not extremely fond of sunlight, at all. It makes my eyes all squinty, and it's bright and hard for me to see. Plus one of my eyes was watering like nuts! Which, I suppose, somewhat fits into the theme of me sitting around on my butt all weekend reading vampire fanfiction. Yes, I'm quite ashamed, but not too ashamed of telling you all this. I have been ignoring my homework though, and I'll get to that once I am done here.

For some stupid reason, I really like vampires. I have recently identified the start of this 'obsession' when I was 13 and I watched the first Underworld movie. I think it actually might be a bad movie, but I have awful taste in films, so I can't really tell you. All I know is that I thought Underworld was awesome. Female vampire kicks butt wearing tight leather or whatnot, plus a cute blonde guy (blondes are my type). All in all, I was impressed, and so forth began my love of vampires. 9 years later, I actually still like vampires, much to of the disgust of my friends who are annoyed with the over-saturation of undead within the media. But this is such a good thing for me because there are so many different vampire myths! Allergic to silver, not allergic to sunlight, Hindu vampires, turned after bite, different races of vampires... The list goes on. Needless to say, I need a new damn hobby.

But anyway, it's time to get to work. I have to review some sort of park plan, dissect a census tract and just generally sit around and be miserable!

Au revoir!

It's cold

It's cold. I hate the cold. I wish it was always warm. I also hate taking photos of myself. And I hate smiling.

Jacket- H&M// Dress- H&M// Sweater- Campus book store// Belt- Ardenes// Tights- ??// Boots- H&M

It's cold out. I have a distaste for cold despite growing up in a city where there is a lot of snow. I also hate snow. Snow is nice for about one day a year, but then you're stuck the rest of winter trudging around in snow boots while constantly chilled and wet.

I started climbing/exercising, and that actually feels good. I am glad I've started again because it was really starting to bother me about how inactive I am.

I think I managed to slightly offend one blogger. That sounds like me. I lack a filter in my brain, and I suppose that probably contributes to peoples' opinions that I have some sort of developmental disorder. I don't, but for some reason, lots of people think I have one.

I am now going to veg out on the couch while I drink pineapple juice wrapped up in a blanket watching 30 Rock.

Reading Week!

Hello everyone!

It's currently reading week, it's so nice to have a little bit of a break from school.

Dress- H&M// Cardigan- American Apparel// Boots- H&M// Tights- School// Belt- Borrowed from father

In case you can't tell, my belt has whales on it! And I stole it from my father. I'm pretty sure he has no use for a whale belt any ways.

Also, I am ginger again and all is right with the universe. I severely missed being ginger, which is the only colour I dye my hair. I did dye it dark brown with temporary dye for Halloween once. It was nice until the novelty wore off and I realized the dye had stained my hair. Being a red head just suits me more.

I went back to my hometown for a few days. That was nice because I saw one of my closest friends and we watched Firefly and cuddled. I also may have made her watch Community and Doctor Who.

Speaking of Doctor Who...
When I  was taking these photos, I swore I heard the TARDIS. Seriously though, why do I keep hearing the TARDIS? It's not the only time and I am not the only one who's heard it before. I might have to start tracing the source...

Speaking of Community...
New episodes soon! March 15th! I am so excited. I watch a lot of television and Community is one of the best shows on the air, except they pulled it off air for a bit. It was really depressing and I prepared myself of possible cancellation by searching for a new comedy to warm my heart. I began 30 Rock, which is not as good as Community. I've only laughed aloud about one time when watching 30 Rock. Not a good sign. It's really hard to find a good comedy, or a good television show for that matter. Maybe U should post a list of my favourite TV shows, though it'll probably be a very cliched list.

I've also realized that I often forget to push up my glasses just about all the time. Not only is it hard to see my eyes, but my glasses are also crooked. I broke my nose a year and a bit back, and since then, my glasses never sit straight.

I'm back home though, in my little student house doing little student things.

Have a good reading week everyone!

We used to be friends

Ugh, some days I'd rather be in a TARDIS than have to go to school. I also wear a bow tie now (not pictured). Bow ties are cool. One day I will.

We just had our student presidential elections on campus. The person who came in last place is now complaining that it was rigged or something and he was cheated out of votes. Maybe people just didn't vote for him because he was disliked? I certainly didn't like him. Congrats to the girl who won.

We also now have university specific memes, which is pretty ridiculous. And amusing. I also have a love for baby sloths. They are so adorable!

Sweater- Old Navy// Dress- Forever 21// Tights- American Apparel// Boots- H&M

In the last picture, you can see my tummy. Yep, that's right, I have a tummy. And I am admitting it. It's there and showing and whatever. Yes, a tummy. I'm probably supposed to be ashamed of it, but I don't think I care. Let me have my tummy. I also have a rather vacuous expression. Yeah, I tried smiling. I shall never try to smile again. Sometimes I also look like an old Polish man.

I've recently become obsessed with Veronica Mars. It's a fairly decent show, though I find it particularly annoying that she uses a lot of people, especially Wallace. I don't think I'd want to be friends with Veronica Mars. At least the first season ending was not predictable. I actually couldn't anticipate who was Lily's killer, which is great. I'm pretty good at figuring stuff out, like that one Doctor Who episode where someone was like, one of you is going to kill someone. And then I guessed right.

And here are some random backyard photos that I took. I like taking pictures of dead plants, so we have some dead plants and not so dreary winter. We also seem to have a lot of dead plants in our backyard.

I did promise

I not so accidentally slept through my morning class, which is something I said I wouldn't do, but who really wants to learn about ArcMap at 8:30 in the morning.

And yes, I brought back my tripod so I was able to take some photos in the backyard!

Jacket- H&M// Sweater- Old Navy// White tank- H&M// Purple tank- H&M// Skirt- American Apparel// Boots- H&M// Tights- Primark

I wear way too much H&M for my own liking. That or I wear too much American Apparel, but I totally cannot help that I am in love with their clothes. Can't wait till I can actually look at one of these stores, which may very well be this Friday! I have a doctor's appointment in Toronto, so I might be able to get some shopping in.

When I was taking pictures, I noticed that we had a bunch of tomatoes on the grass. I had little idea way. Apparently, it's for the raccoons to eat, which is better than the raccoons going through our garbage!
I must bid you all adieu.
Adieu.

Went home for the weekend

Will hopefully remember to bring back the tripod so I can have lots of fun pictures of myself and actually post them on here.
I will try at least. It'll be a goal.
I wore this on the bus, it's comfy, plus I am wearing a floppy hat.

Tank- American Apparel// Bandeau- Westdale// Jeans- American Eagle// Hat- Student Centre// Shoes- Aldo

Well, it's that time again. I'm gonna start working on this blog again since I like it, and I wear so many awesome outfits that no one really sees, except people at school.

I've pretty much watched all of the first season of Alphas today. It's fairly addicting and is basically compared to all those other mutant things, like Heroes, X-Men... And those other mutant things. Still, it's pretty good and I am surprised of the lack of fanfiction between Rachel and Hicks. Better than Nina and Hicks, or Rachel and Gary. Guess I'm going to have to find a new television show to watch. I rather pathetically watch a lot of television. And easily get bored.

There's the idea that I have ADD or ADHD, mostly because of my rather fun thought process that links random things together and drives some people absolutely nuts. According to my lovely friend, the best way to describe it is as a line of best fit. Of course, I know exactly how I get to my thoughts.

Anyways, best of luck and happy weekend. May the force be with you.
Get your paws of my taun taun.

Last time I take pictures indoors.

Never seems to work out very well, but that's what you get when you have a terrible flash.
Perhaps I need to stop being a perfectionist about this blog. It's somewhat irritating especially since I am a terribly lazy person. But I really like this outfit, and this skirt, which often makes an appearance on this blog. So yeah, this skirt is fun, and I'll take nice photos tomorrow, outside with light. If I get up early enough.

Wolverine in a petticoat.

Poor Georgie was spayed today. She should have a cone on her head when she returns.
It also appears our elderly neighbours have taken in their grandson. We chatted after I was done taking my photos. Shame I'm going to Hamilton tomorrow and then to camp.

So yeah, pretty much I saw X-Men: First Class last night.
And I know what you're thinking. That is has to be terrible, there's no way it can be half decent after X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men Origins.
I'll admit, I'm known for liking pretty awful things. Awful in a good way, if that's possible?
But this film was actually very good. I suck at describing movies, but the story was coherent and it really gives you a sense of the characters and how they became who they are. Like Magneto, I feel for him. And Professor X. And their whole little relationship. So, if you like X-Men, though I'm not like a super X-Men fan. I've only seen the movies and the cartoons. They only X-Men comic I've read is the first run of Astonishing X-Men. This is where my purple dragon comes in. I fell in love with Lockheed and want a freaking purple dragon.

So, pretty much, I wanted to through in my love of X-Men into my outfit. And it's actually pretty hard if, you know, don't want to end up looking like Wolverine here.

Dress- DLR
Tank top- Winners
Tights- Primark
Shoes- Stoneridge
Sunnies- DLR

Georgie's back. She's super depressed and does not like her cone.

I also hate sunlight. I think my medication causes sensitivity to the sun. Or maybe that was the other one.
Either way. I hate the sun.
And on that topic, I'm really getting sick of bloggers taking pictures with the sun behind them. The glare sucks, okay. And it makes it hard to see what you're wearing. All in all, it's annoying. Sure it's great not to look at the  sun while photographing yourself, but then I have to look at it.
AND I HATE THE SUN

On a second note, the soundtrack for X-Men: First Class is exquisite. Please go get yourself a copy.

And thank you to everyone who's been leaving lovely comments! It makes me really happy.

Down by the bay!

Where the watermelons grow!

I dunno. Apparently it was Barrie Days. Whatever that is. Apparently, there are like 30 bazillion waterfront festivals in Barrie.
It doesn't make any sense to me.

Dress- Forever 21
Tights- Ardene's
Boots- Aldo
Necklaces- Claire's
Clutch- Off the Wall

Yeah, so my mom took some pictures of me. Apparently she doesn't know how to use a camera.
So, there were tons of bad  pictures, and this one.
I like the tights. It kind of reminds me of Snow White.
And Georgie makes an appearance.
She's being spayed on Monday.

Today I was possessed

It must be the only explanation as to why I saw a high school production of Phantom of the Opera. It was also back at my old high school.

It actually wasn't that bad, considering how demanding the vocals are for a musical. Yes, the cast could sing! But acting, that's another story.

I'm actually super attached to the Phantom of the Opera. My mother had a cast recording of it, and I spent a lot of time listening to it. A lot. In the 5th grade I got to do a presentation of a artist/composer/whatnot. I chose Andrew Lloyd Webber and  I played my 5th grade class the Phantom of the Opera song. And this is probably one of the reasons why people thought I was odd. Still am odd.

Anyways, I am pretty phantom picky. *cough*colmwilkinson*cough* Did you know he's Jean Val Jean in the original cast production of Les Miserables? My mother pretty much grew us up listening to musicals. We definitely always went to high school productions of plays when they were on. Popular ones include Les Mis, Joseph, Into the Woods and Westside Story.

Now I just want to run around in cape or whatnot. I definitely have a cape from when we played dressup as kids.

My friend also visited me today, and I really love her. So it was a fun day! We played vampire trivia. Did you know they used to put bricks in the mouths of potential vampires?
I also must call the company who made up the game because they listed Czechoslovakia as a country. Pretty sure it's 2...

Shirt- Primark
Skirt- Song, from Off the Wall
Tights- Drugstore
Shoes- Stoneridge
Belt- American Apparel

In case you can't tell, I really like this belt. I also really like this top. It's super comfortable.
And it's June and I haven't started to study for my makeup exams. :(
I'll start on that tomorrow.

I'm also getting a haircut tomorrow. Just a trim!

PS. Michael Crawford is a shitass Phantom. Sure he can sing, but he can't hold a candle to Colm Wilkinson. His voice is so pretty and doesn't have the edge that Colm has. COLM!!!!!

You are the same decaying organic matter as everything else

Usually I think my life is going pretty crazy when I start comparing it to Fight Club.
There are just some things about living in this town that I can't handle, such as a the homogeneity. Everything is the same. I go to take pictures, and all there is are plants. Everyone has a manicured lawn and a cutesy little garden. Every house looks identical and unoffensive.

I miss school. I miss the buildings that have their shingles falling off. With grass that's never cut, hedges never trimmed. Weeds growing everywhere. Pretty much everything in a state of disaster. Every house is different. They're all war homes compared to newly built suburban developments.

So, as I go crazy, I remember Fight Club. Where here you are your clothes, your house, your car.
The things you own end up owning you.
And then I get this built up rage, and I just want to destroy something. I want a punch a hole in the wall, tear apart something.

So, yes, instead of giving into my destructive urges, I went on a walk and tried to take pictures. There's not much  to take pictures of, unless you like plants or nature or something. I went to a park. It had a path, it was a lot like an outdoor treadmill. You feel like you're going somewhere, but the scenery never changes and you're really still in the same spot.

Dress- H&M
Sweater- Primark
Tights- ???
Shoes- Mudd
Sunnies- Ralph by Ralph Lauren from Holt Renfrew

Style inspiration from Marla Singer. I spent the whole night up reading Fight Club. There are so many different things from the last time I read it. Also first time of sitting down outfit posts!

Sunday, May 22, 2011

So, pretty much, it takes me like forever to get dressed. I change my outfit like 20 times and make a huge mess. Today, that was not so the case. I was kind of thinking Midsummer's Night Dream, except you know, I guess it's less obvious. No faerie wings, floaty dress or flower wreath. Though when taking the pictures, I felt kind of Mat Hatter-ish.

Tank top- H&M
Skirt- H&M
Petticoat- American Apparel
Belt- H&M
Shoes- Joe Fresh

So yeah, I felt kind of mad, and did some awkward dancing whilst photographing myself. I`m 100% dork, and I am not afraid to admit it. I feel like my personality shows more in this group of pictures.

This weekend is Anime North, and I am hella excited. It`s honestly the greatest thing ever. It`s my 4th year going and I just love spending time with my friends, looking at all the amazing costumes and buying things. I`m not heavily into anime, but it`s a great experience. Perhaps we`ll even go to Yaoi North again! :D

The best thing about this outfit are the shoes. I got them for $5 at the grocery store. And they are SHINY!
