Vivienne Westwood F/W 2011

I liked most of the designs in Vivienne Westwood's new collection. It's rather nice and reminds of something like trash punk.

The one thing I could not abide was the makeup.
Honestly, the models looked like Kiss tribute band rejects. I understand that Ms. Westwood would want to give an edge to her clothing, but this was not simply the way to go.

Some of my favourites
I adore this outfit. It reminds of McQueen's collections from a few years back. I like the softness of the ruffles and the edge of the hard draped fabric.
It gives a nice silhouette.

Love this! It's like something a glam kickass fairy would wear. And I love fairies, imagination and the ethereal.

This outfit has a simple elegance to it where it highlights a rather feminine figure. I think Ms. Westwood made excellent use of a soft female figure. It was quite nice to see. I just wish the model didn't look like a dalmatian.

Overall, a lot of golds and very fall appropriate shades.
Very nice, pretty collection. I love the use of the bold prints near the end.
Also, there were a few lace and beadwork over a nude dress. Seems to be the case for a few others designers, like Marchesa's fall line.

Anyways, thank you readers!
