Happy Easter

I guess it's getting to that time where it's Easter. I wasn't actually sure when Easter was, except my parents told me.
This song is awesome, make sure you all give it a listen!

I'm with the family now, which is always nice. We went to see a show at Second City, which was great! If you're in Toronto, I highly recommend it. It's a hilarious sketch comedy show where they do funny stuff and I laugh. And though I do not like smiling, I do like laughing, as I am hilarious. And awesome. Always remember that.

Exams are fast approaching. I suppose when it comes to exams that I would prefer a fast approach than a slow one. But that means school is over and I will no longer be with my lovely roommates. There's been laughing. And some more laughing. And loads of sex talks.

These boots are absolutely amazing. I call them my Loki boots, because they remind me of my most favourite Norse god. Did anyone mention he can change shape? AND GENDER? Absolutely amazing. And I guess these are Loki colours, green and red. Maybe I am Loki.

I am waiting for the most amazing t-shirt ever. I ordered it from Zazzle and it is from my favourite website. As you can see, there is a mammoth. And it's from Man Boobz, which is an amazing site that mocks the men's rights movement. Without getting into specifics, they're a bunch of very sad people who say a lot of shit about how evil women are. If you don't believe me, you only need to browse through Man Boobz for a good intro what being a men's rights activist means.

But enough of that, there's enough  darkness in the world. How about Evil Abed, huh? What do you think you're evil twin is like?

Well, at least there are photos

Yep, here are some photos from this morning. I realize that I suck at focusing and I will now blame it on my glasses and the fact my damn DSLR doesn't have a nice focusing screen.
I woke up this morning and I realized that it was foggy. In case I have not mentioned it before, I absolutely love fog. It's mysterious and shrouding and reminds me of fairy tales and isolation even when people are around. Needless to say, I grabbed my camera and started taking pictures. Even more fun was all the people walking to school who were probably looking at me like I was nuts. I was, after all, crawling away in bushes.

For the 4 years I have been living in this city, I have never seen fog like this. Never. Sometimes there are a few wisps, but never this thick. Reminds me of home and the only thing I like about my hometown is fog.

I would have liked to go into the forest on campus to get some lovely shots, especially since no one would be around, but I had a meeting with a professor. I am trying to find a supervisor for my thesis, though all the profs I've talked to are extremely nice and supportive.

Anyways, enjoy the fog!

MAIN TIMELINE

Black and Purple

I've been in love with the colours eggplant, black and grey lately. There's just something so dramatic about it that appeals to me deep inside.

Dress, Tank, Leggings, Boots- H&M// Jacket- Gift// Cardigan- Old Navy// Scarf- Second Hand

All thanks to Delightfully Tacky's photo tips! Incredibly helpful and I actually like my pictures today. There is variety, and if I don't look at the camera, I don't have to smile! Yay! And it's such a nice day out. 11 degrees and everything. The only thing I would change is the sunlight.

For those of you unaware, I'm not extremely fond of sunlight, at all. It makes my eyes all squinty, and it's bright and hard for me to see. Plus one of my eyes was watering like nuts! Which, I suppose, somewhat fits into the theme of me sitting around on my butt all weekend reading vampire fanfiction. Yes, I'm quite ashamed, but not too ashamed of telling you all this. I have been ignoring my homework though, and I'll get to that once I am done here.

For some stupid reason, I really like vampires. I have recently identified the start of this 'obsession' when I was 13 and I watched the first Underworld movie. I think it actually might be a bad movie, but I have awful taste in films, so I can't really tell you. All I know is that I thought Underworld was awesome. Female vampire kicks butt wearing tight leather or whatnot, plus a cute blonde guy (blondes are my type). All in all, I was impressed, and so forth began my love of vampires. 9 years later, I actually still like vampires, much to of the disgust of my friends who are annoyed with the over-saturation of undead within the media. But this is such a good thing for me because there are so many different vampire myths! Allergic to silver, not allergic to sunlight, Hindu vampires, turned after bite, different races of vampires... The list goes on. Needless to say, I need a new damn hobby.

But anyway, it's time to get to work. I have to review some sort of park plan, dissect a census tract and just generally sit around and be miserable!

Au revoir!

It's cold

It's cold. I hate the cold. I wish it was always warm. I also hate taking photos of myself. And I hate smiling.

Jacket- H&M// Dress- H&M// Sweater- Campus book store// Belt- Ardenes// Tights- ??// Boots- H&M

It's cold out. I have a distaste for cold despite growing up in a city where there is a lot of snow. I also hate snow. Snow is nice for about one day a year, but then you're stuck the rest of winter trudging around in snow boots while constantly chilled and wet.

I started climbing/exercising, and that actually feels good. I am glad I've started again because it was really starting to bother me about how inactive I am.

I think I managed to slightly offend one blogger. That sounds like me. I lack a filter in my brain, and I suppose that probably contributes to peoples' opinions that I have some sort of developmental disorder. I don't, but for some reason, lots of people think I have one.

I am now going to veg out on the couch while I drink pineapple juice wrapped up in a blanket watching 30 Rock.
