So, this is before I realized I could choose to look at the whole site in English. I was more than content to let the clothes do the talking, which is what happened with this one Trend of the Day. It's entitled urban chic. Upon looking at the clothes within the collection, I started to wonder what the heck urban chic is. From the looks of the pictures, it's simple lines and work professional. I totally had some different pictured.
Especially since urban covers a lot of ground. In Canada, an urban place is somewhere like a town with more than 2000 people. Not exactly skyscrapers and CBDs. But if we're focusing on large cities, I picture slums and chic upscale places. Like a city exists in this strange balance between rich and poor.
If I were to redo this section, I'd focus on the wonder of the city, at least to me. Military jackets and places no one knows of. Not what I'd like to wear to work for the day. Overall, I feel the collection they posted was mundane. After all, neutrals and clean lines are nice and all, but I guess it's fitting if they are discussing the working world.
I also have the slight idea that this post makes no sense. Might edit it later.
